Lions Paris 9 Run – 10km du Neuf 2020

Start of the “10 km du Neuf” 2019 – With our friend Didier Tessier excellent competitor in the MH5 category (60~65 years old)

The race used to be called the 10 km of the 9th (arrondissement of Paris). It took place without interruption from the 2000s until 2016 and was revived and renamed in 2019 as the “Lions Paris 9 Run – 10km du Neuf 2020”.
This second edition is organized by the Lions Club International in partnership with the 9th arrondissement town hall.
In addition to the 10km, there is a 1.5km family run.

The participants go on a superb route through the heart of Paris: the Opéra Garnier, the Place Clichy and Place Pigalle, at the foot of Montmartre, via the Rue des Martyrs (with a few ups and downs) and the Grands Boulevards.

A beautiful race which, in addition to sport, aims to raise funds for various causes.
Moreover the event takes place on March 8th, the International Women’s Day. Throughout the week will be organized a collection of new feminine hygiene products for distribution to people in precarious and poverty.
