The race was formerly called the 10 km race in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. More recently renamed the 10 km of the NINE, it took place without interruption from the 2000s (in autumn) until 2016. More than 1500 participants in 2016 (422 in 2005!).
The 10 km of the NINE will therefore resume this year 2019.
The results and photos proposed in link date from 2016.
The town hall of the 9th district organizes the race in partnership with Lions Club International. In addition to the 10 km, there is a 1.5 km family run.
A beautiful course in a loop, a not really flat circuit in the heart of the 9th arrondissement, boulevard des Italiens, boulevard Haussmann, Opéra Garnier, places Clichy and Pigalle, at the foot of Montmartre by way of rue des Martyrs…
Objective of the event: to raise funds to help those in need, each runner allocating his bib to the cause he cares about, diabetes, the environment, hunger, childhood cancer, vision or disability, all in a festive atmosphere around the race village.
And why not combine this competition with a sightseeing tour of the city during your stay in Paris by running with real Parisian runner guides (warming up a day before the competition or recovering a day after)? Enjoy an original private tour, tailor-made for you:
